Accounting/Finance – Clerk,

Zagime Management Ltd. is currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting/Finance Clerk to join our team. This position focuses on accounts payable and receivable duties, including performing banking tasks, sorting and filing financial documents, posting debits and credits to appropriate accounts, and verifying amounts for accuracy. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, coordinating and maintaining financial records such as company credit cards and bank signing authorities, and preparing monthly consolidated bank reconciliations along with journal entries. Additionally, the role involves assisting with various projects and assignments as needed, contributing to the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable/Receivable
  • Perform banking as required.
  • Sort/File documents and post debits/credits to the proper account.
  • Verify amounts on various forms for accuracy.
  • Process accounts payable invoices as required.
  • Coordinate and maintain records (e.g., company credit cards, bank signing authorities, etc.).
  • Prepare monthly consolidated bank reconciliation and process Journal entries.
  • Assist with projects and assignments, and other duties as assigned

Job Skills & Abilities:

  • Intermediate computer skills (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized, and have high attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and ability to work well within a team.
  • A self-starter attitude with well-developed time management skills and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively as a member of a team.
  • Qualifying Nation members or First Nations will be preferred for this role.
